Guhan S. Selva

Guhan Selva is a Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates, where he leads the firm's global Consumer Technology, Gaming, and Media & Entertainment practice. He advises CEOs, Boards, and founders on leadership, succession, and building executive teams for scale, transformation, and long-term value creation in the digital consumer ecosystem, drawing on two decades of operating experience across digital-first businesses and nearly a decade as a leadership advisor.

An operator-turned-advisor, Guhan has advised Boards and CEOs at Fortune 100 and multi-billion-dollar global enterprises, led Board and CEO succession work, placed Board directors at leading public companies, and partnered closely with founders and private equity sponsors to build leadership teams capable of navigating growth, disruption, and platform shifts.

Prior to Russell Reynolds, Guhan held senior operating roles across both high-growth startups and global platforms, with deep experience in direct-to-consumer growth, product innovation, and diversified revenue models. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Omaze, a Series B consumer technology marketplace, and previously ran the U.S. digital networks portfolio at Discovery and launched new digital products and business models at Turner. His work includes an Emmy Award for breakthrough multiplatform innovation.
