Cynthia Dow

Cynthia Dow co-leads our global Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Officers Practice from her base in New York. She has over 17 years of experience as a leadership advisor with a particular focus on advising organizations of all sizes and across industries on their general counsel, chief legal officer, and other board and corporate governance appointments as well as c-suite succession and development.

Cynthia was a successful lawyer before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, serving as a corporate generalist, labor and employment attorney, and litigator. She practiced law for more than 14 years, including positions as vice president and assistant general counsel with Cadbury Schweppes, the general counsel to a technology company, and as an attorney with Baker Botts LLP in Dallas. Earlier in her career, she served as a senior law clerk to Chief Judge Jerry Buchmeyer of the Northern District of Texas.
